Nem A`rt bio. (English)

Early 2002 launched Nem A’rt ( Zed Zee Zoltán – vocal & acoustic guitar; László Balázs – electric guitar; Vörös János – bass guitar) gave the first gig just 3 weeks after the birth at Marteen’s pub in Budaőrs.  The words creative cover band can well depict the first period - one of the phases being It’s A One Time Thing It Just Happens A Lot, a Suzanne Vega tribute album in 2003, contributed by artists from around the globe, with guidance by Californian producer Fred Jardin. Nem A’rt participated there with interesting covers of Tom’s Diner and Luka, while Zed Zee Zoltan in solo provided a special cover to St.Clare. At the same time Nem A’rt got more and more engaged in writing own songs that were presented  at concerts (e.g. John Bull Víghajos pub, Portside pub). In 2004 the name Nem A’rt, which has been used since the band’s beginning, was trade-marked by the band at the Patent Office (class 41:  education, vocational training, entertainment, sports and cultural activities). At the end of 2004 Kósa Dávid (drums) joined the band as guest musician.  In 2005 Zed Zee Zoltán got an honourable invitation to the 3-day Dunaparti Vígasságok festival held on Budapest’s patinated Danube promenade as part of the August 20 celebrations. By this, on 19 August Nem A’rt found itself on the big stage set up at the elegant and historic Chain Bridge where from 17.00h the band gave a nearly one-hour successful concert of its own songs – sharing the stage with bands like Kiss Forever,  Z'ZI Labor, Back II Black, and 2005 Eurovision song contest (Kiev, Ukraine) 12th placed NOX. In the past years the band members have got involved in various (music and other kind) projects, so active Nem A’rt band performing has got shifted in the background. Currently Nem A’rt is recording a full studio album of its own songs, including new song. Nem A’rt band logo was designed by Hugo Schiettekatte (Belgium).
